I have been working on this post for too DAMN long because 1, one, uno....picture was refusing to load right. Finally, I said F it and left it out of the post and will do a separate post just for that picture.
Alright, now that I have that out of my system let's get down to business. This week was a better one. Out of a possible 30 points I got 26. Yayyy for me. The bonus points for week 3 of YumYucky's challenge were for continuing with 3 salads and a pushup activity. I was able to pick up those points, otherwise I would have been sitting at 24.
On Sunday I was entering a competition to be a part of The Dream Team, so I had to practice my biscuit recipe again. There was a lot of biscuit eating this week, but I placed third so it was worth it. There will be a post about the fair after it's over and right before my cake show entrance post. Yes, I'm a competition addict.
This is going to be a short post because there isn't much to say about how much I sucked this week. It was a crazy week at work with my hours, so my eating and working out were gravely affected. Time to get back on track.
Only 18 stars out of a possible 30, Shaking my head at myself
Hello again, it has been one week since I started this three month challenge and I have done pretty good at moving my body more. I had already started the healthy eating in June, so that wasn't an issue.
I keep a journal(photos below) of the food I put in my mouth and what I do exercise wise, so that if I ever need to know why (or why not) my body isn't losing the fat the blame can be on no one else but ME. It's called accountability, something that too many humans don't want to accept. The easiest way for me to feel that I am showing you the start to finish is to post photos of the journal so you can keep track with me.
It's not about how many pounds I lose, but the inches and clothes sizes I drop. I have some fabric I want to make some suit pants from and until these thighs get back to a reasonable size, the pants won't get sewn.
There is a star tracking system and since I haven't decided how I want to incorporate the chart in my posts I will just type it here...
Monday 4 Tuesday 4 Wednesday 4 Thursday 4 Friday 2 food+1 fitness Saturday 2 food+1 fitness Sunday 1 food+2 fitness Total 25+1(extra from YumYucky's Bonus Star Activity)
I am not sure if you read the first installment of the challenge, but I had a photo in the post with my "Bucket List for Health". If you didn't see it, no worries I will type it out here.
This list may change if ever I think of something new
BUCKET LIST FOR HEALTH 1. Eat more fiber 2. Eat more veggies(steamed/raw) NO CANNED 3. Eat more fruit besides just smoothies 4. Get more exercise 5. Sit in silence more 6. Meditate 7. Become more green with cleaning 8. Grow more food 9. Make my own soap 10. Make my own laundry detergent 11. Make my own breads 12. Cut out so much processed food 13. Photograph more 14. Read more 15. More aromatherapy 16. More dry brushing 17. Go back to learning French 18. Do Project 365 in 2012
I have been making my own bread since June and love it. I also find myself turning the tv off more. If only I wasn't on the computer looking at blogs and flickr as much as I do I could get meditation in also. LOL. #1, 2, and 12 have also been works in progress. I'm definitely getting closer to the health I need to be in and it feels great.
On July 27, 2011 Josie of YumYucky sent out a challenge to her followers to Finish What You Started. I thought this a perfect challenge, because of the fact that I decided in June to make some changes health wise. Since health is mind, body, and soul, I knew my changes had to encompass every corner of that.
As you can see in picture number 1, the fat that surrounds my bones has gotten completely out of hand. And, in the last pic you can get an idea of more FAT! Just look at the numbers and repeat with me RIDONKULOUS.
I will be posting here weekly, as well as writing in my comp book about my 3 months and beyond challenge and hope to inspire someone else to FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED!
